We’re happy things are going well. If you have been following our portfolio’s alerts we are bringing home the bacon. See below table for not just the live, but also the past performance (as always, never a guide to future performance). We’re happy with this.
Even if you’re on the free subscription, the shares we are talking about when publishing them a few weeks later, there’s some difference in timing to be sure, but there’s still gains.
Take BT - we sent an alert out on 16th December to our paid subscribers, but the free subscribers found out about the share in the free January version that was released later, so there’s still a % increase if you chose to follow the portfolio additions, it would just be more if you had paid the subs fee.
Have a look at where we are now in Portfolio #1 - do you follow the alerts and the newsletter closely? We have a myriad of different subscribers, some want the Investor Insights as they learn how to invest, some want the share data and why we’re investing in that month’s pick, other want Mark’s unique take on the investing world. It’s important for you to know what our letter does so you can understand how we can help educate your investing journey.
A sea of green (no guarantee of a continued sea of green!).
Coming up in the month: if the AI and humans agree, we might well send a new open alert out, or potentially Ashmore might turn into a close alert.
Hi Andy,
Thank you for reaching out to us. Our sincerest apologies for this, the IGG update content hadn't reached our newsletter designer in time for the original publication date and we updated the newsletter to reflect the changes shortly afterwards.
Please be assured this is the first time this has happened at HindeSight and if you click on the following link and sign-in to your account you will see the updated newsletter.

Many thanks and happy investing.

HindeSight Letters
Hi Lee
A couple of questions:
I read somewhere that you have a "share of the month" as well as the "Adds to the portfolio, but I haven't seen an article on one yet
There's a mention of the Equity Model Portfolio - is this the same as the Dividend UK Portfolio 1. This begs the question - is there more than one newsletter and / or more than one portfolio (I'm aware of the permanent portfolio)
kind regards
Andy
